Nestled at 174 7th Ave S in the vibrant heart of New York City’s West Village, Fellini Cucina offers an authentic Italian dining experience that seamlessly blends the casual charm of a coffee shop with the sophistication of a full-service restaurant. This beloved establishment invites you to savor an exquisite culinary journey that delights the senses from start to finish.
The cuisine at Fellini Cucina is a captivating celebration of Italian flavors crafted with care and creativity. Their menu showcases an enticing array of dishes, each bursting with fresh ingredients and authentic Italian flair. Whether you’re craving the delicate creaminess of the Margherita Pizza with its perfectly blistered crust or the indulgent richness of the Truffle Pizza topped with an earthy aroma that teases the palate, each bite feels like a little slice of Italy in New York.
For lighter fare, the Caesar Salad and Rucola & Grana Padano Insalate provide a refreshing balance, their crisp greens dressed in subtly tangy, harmonious flavors that brighten the meal. Seafood lovers will appreciate the Tuna Tartare, presenting a fresh, clean taste that’s finely accented by zesty citrus notes.
But it’s not just the food—Fellini Cucina’s beverage offerings elevate the experience to another level. Coffee aficionados can indulge in carefully brewed favorites such as the Iced Latte, Espresso Doble, and the uniquely delightful Tiramisu Latte, described by customers as perfectly balanced—not too sweet, but richly satisfying. Their espresso blends, including the Fellini Noir, underscore a passion for exceptional coffee craftsmanship. Complement your meal with classic Italian aperitifs like the Aperol Spritz or an Espresso Martini, served with flair and finesse.
The atmosphere at Fellini Cucina is as enchanting as the menu. Housed in a distinctive triangular space—arguably NYC’s smallest café—this intimate setting packs a big punch in ambiance. It’s a cozy, elegant nook, where vibrant Italian music playfully fills the air, sometimes sparking smiles and light-hearted moments among diners. Outdoor seating further allows guests to bask in the quintessential New York energy while enjoying their meals.
Customer reviews beautifully echo the restaurant’s unique charm. David Eliyahu praises the innovative coffee presentation served in cocktail glasses; Joselvy Gonzalez Garcia raves about the impeccable service and impressive culinary artistry; Tony Huang appreciates the café’s originality and quaint location, highlighting its charm despite its petite footprint; while Selina L celebrates its inviting ambiance as the perfect happy hour escape.
Fellini Cucina captures the essence of Italian dining with a contemporary New York twist—a place where each sip, each bite, and each moment feels thoughtfully crafted to nourish both body and soul. Whether you’re stopping by for a meticulously poured coffee or settling in for a memorable dinner, this West Village gem promises an experience that lingers long after the last bite.
This coffee was the best I've ever had served in cocktail glass. The tiramisu latte I thought it would be too sweet but it was perfect kudos to Fellini. The vibes are nice and the place is clean although the Italian music had me laughing. I've also come to realize when drinking a coffee the smell of coffee is what I'd like for the coffee shop to smell like but instead it smelled like pizza and pasta smelled great but since it's a restaurant as well the aromas were mixed and because they serve alcohol the place can be louder than a typical coffee shop let's call it more social opposed to going to complete a task. I'll be visiting again. Trying new stuff and other locations. Thanks
one of the best dining experiences I've ever had! The food was incredibly delicious, with impressive presentations and unique flavors. The service was attentive, friendly, and very professional. The atmosphere was cozy and elegant. I'll definitely be back! 5 stars well deserved."
First time I visited was a few years ago when this was the only their location. Looks like they have expanded since with multiple locations. The cafe is really unique and cool. It is located exactly on the corner of Perry St. / 7th Ave and is shaped like a triangle. At about ~15sq feet it may be the smallest cafe in NYC. Only 2 people can really fit in the space. It does have outdoor seating so you can enjoy your outdoor on the street.
I visited on a weekday afternoon during happy hour. We each had a glass of wine, and it was a great spot to enjoy the drinks while taking in the atmosphere.
I liked the coffee! I think it wasn’t amazing but it was still really good. I will go back to try the tiramisu latte
The watermelon salad with feta and klamata olives with balsamic drizzle was perfect for the warmer summer months. Great atmosphere with seats right on 7th Ave for awesome people watching. Note to restaurant: presenting the dish colder and on a chilled plate would really elevate this dish even further.
Coffee was so delicious! I can’t believe it’s ONE person taking orders and making the drinks he’s working on 3x speed it’s a sight to see! I do feel the drink being $15 is a little overpriced for what it is, but hey, when in NY I guess?! It was emergency coffee but definitely expect to wait in line for a bit!
